Who even is Nashville Unsigned?
It’s ok, we’ve heard this question a few times. Well, more like several times. It’s a question that’s natural when you’re running around throwing shows, publishing articles and curating music. And holy crap, has it changed over the years.
Therefore, we’ve created a special episode of the the Nashville Unsigned Podcast to answer that question as thoroughly as possible. We’ve come together to talk about the community at large. This episode is about telling stories of where we come from, and where we’re going with Nashville Unsigned. We just want to figure out this whole indie music thing.
So who even is Nashville Unsigned? Seriously.
Spoiler alert, I’m going to sum up what we’re about in one word: Community. Wait, wait, don’t let me lose you yet. It’s actually an incredibly cool thing for the indie music scene in Nashville. As a digital magazine, we’ve created a platform that communicates with the community (like what i did there?). From here, we connect with musicians, businesses and fans alike to make the idea of independent music feasible. That means actually paying the bills doing what you love. Or, at the very least, getting the most financially out of a passion project you’ve put time and energy into. A win’s a win, am I right?
With a combined experience in promotions, branding, web development, video production, and writing, we’ve made it our mission to chase this. We are at the forefront of music discovery, marketing strategy and technology, in touch with a massive community of talented entrepreneurs. Therefore, why not connect with one another? Let’s hang out, listen to good music, and plug in to the scene. Our thinking is, the tide rises all ships. So, ladies and gentlemen, let’s make some waves.
