Class 5 Alumni, STEALING OCEANS, launches his new music video for “Follow The Lights” shedding light on his bright future.
We couldn’t more stoked to premiere the Stealing Oceans Follow The Lights music video. One of the singles off of his newest album “Let The Kids Play” that releases this May.
Have you met Boy Scout Billy yet?
Back a few months ago, Stealing Oceans introduced his alter ego “Boy Scout Billy” in a new web series. What we love most about this music video is the super creative concept the Lux Collective came up with. Introducing us to Boy Scout Billy on a completely different level than before. An almost adult-like Billy, with his cross country traveling and his new mustache. Playing into Stealing Oceans name, Boy Scout Billy’s fantasy girl in his dream inspires him to steal each ocean. In Conclusion, this was a creative, cool concept and also an amazing way of continuing to expose Billy’s story.

The Video’s Secrets
“The Lux Collective approached me with the idea to make a video for Follow The Lights and without hesitation, I said yes. They asked for creative control and I had no problem trusting that they would put together a great piece.
I have a longstanding relationship with the guys and we work really well together. They genuinely care about the work they do and continue to produce great content.
The video is a play on my name, Stealing Oceans. Billy is inspired by this girl he meets in these dream sequences to travel to California and steal a jar of the Pacific Ocean.
This was the first time we shot with Boy Scout Billy. He was pretty shy on set, you could tell it was his first time. Since this shoot, he has released 3 episodes of his new tv show, BsB TV and you can see he is getting more comfortable in front of the camera.
The Lux guys make a cameo in all the videos I shoot with them. This one its hard to tell but when I am on the plane with Leland, Mike is actually in the cockpit “flying” the plane.
People continue to ask who Billy is and why? Those answers will come soon enough..”
