This week on the pod I sit down with an Alumni making his way back around for his Homecoming tour. Gran Cavallo, formerly known as Jack Berry, has a new project in the works and I’m stoked to have him apart of the debut season of R3. We learn how he accidentally stumbled onto the name (0:20) and that its roots are Italian not Spanish. He tosses out a new name for the pod (that is pretty damn good) and then we jump into what his favorite Italian meal is and get a good laugh about “All the Do’s” (1:20).
I forget Nardwuar’s name (smh) then proceed to ask about his Idols outside of music (2:10), find out his shoe size (3:20), why he would get naked after a plane crash (3:30), and his affinity for brushing teeth. I ask him his favorite places to frequent (4:30) before we wrap with his A’Ha moment that got him into music (5:30).
