BTS of The CINEMATIC SONGS Series

Tommee Profitt was born for cinematic pop productions. The way in which he builds songs, pulling in countless classical instruments, layering in major pop production elements, no wonder Tommee’s got the momentum he does. It’s undeniable, really! It’s probably dangerous to get me testing driving a vehicle with Cinematic Songs Vol 5 in my ears. I literally feel like I’m in a movie. Outrunning the cops in a red Lamborghini, weaving in and out of traffic, dropping in and out of gears to escape. With a helicopter above, trying to keep up. But ultimately I shake them, and hide out in an abandoned building while waiting it out. Yeah I went there! Act like you didn’t!

Cinematic Songs is littered with featured artists and a plethora of alumni. Building and pitching songs for film/tv trailers, Tommee wanted the world to hear a collection of music that didn’t live anywhere else. Below gives a list of songs and featured artist on each song for Vol 5.

2. You Made Me Do It (feat. Ruby Amanfu)

3. Can You Feel the Heat Now (feat. Fleurie) Class 11

BTS (Behind The Songs)

Tommee has produced more music than years I’ve been alive, times 10. He states “This is BY FAR my favorite collection to date!!” Building music for film and tv has allowed Profitt to push the boundaries of his music. Giving him all the reasons to add more layers and go bigger adding that cinematic element that you can feel in your soul.  Tommee says “Can You Feel the Heat Now”  was a song we specifically wanted to try pushing the boundaries with. Which is what me and Fleurie normally do. We definitely accomplished that by stretching her out of her comfort zone, vocally.”
A fun little fact is Tommee and Fleurie had more placements in film/tv than any other artist/ songwriter he has worked with. Fleurie is also a class 11 alumni, in which her feature week will be launching soon.
A few other fun facts is both songs with Ruby Amanfu (“Ruler” and “You Made Me Do It”) were completely done (start to finish) within 3 hours each. Seriously guys? That’s insane!
And “Dark Conscience” was an instrumental originally pitched for the new Venom movie trailer. It didn’t make the final trailer, but Tommee said “I love the instrumental and still wanted to put it out!”
Little did you all know Vol 5 was completed in July but due to Vol 4’s release, TP decided to wait until November to launch it.
Well since you’re all caught up on the BTS details, now it’s time to go and sit with this album already. Enjoy!
