NU MUSIC – Class 2’s SVRCINA w/ TwentySomething “Wish You Well”

This year for Class 2’s SVRCINA, has been quite the EPIC year. Moving to Berlin, Germany in early 2018, SVRCINA spent 3 months honing her craft while collaborating with some mad talented producers. Simultaneously, landing some pretty monumental syncs with FOX, NBC, ABC and more. This young, mega talent has paid her dues for the last decade. Spending that time truly finding her unique voice, in not only her tone, but her songwriting ability.

BTS (Behind the Song) “Wish You Well”

TWENTYSOMETHING x SVRCINA is a collaboration that truly fell into the hands of fate. While in Germany, the development of this single came with a unique skype audio co-writing session with SVRCINA, Twentysomething and Gabs out of London. Oh technology, opening up the possibilities of music and collaborations such as this one. This specific approach gave diversity in culture and experience to the song through different perspectives, all from different countries. Which seems to be the perfect ingredients for the songs catchy, secret sauce.

“Wish You Well”

The song comes in with SVRCINA’s smooth, but uniquely identifiable, vocals on “It’s been a good and a hard year”, that immediately hooks your curiosity and reels you in. Twentysomething sprinkled their expertise and a bit of pop magic on this single’s production. Laying it’s foundation with the simplistic idea of just experimenting and having fun with sounds. Well it worked!

The message of “Wish You Well” is a message that I feel is wildly relatable. We’ve all dated that person that is just emotionally unavailable. The person that doesn’t even know how to love themselves, let alone another. And at some point you decide that the work you’re putting in is not being reciprocated. It’s very tough to decide to pull the plug on the relationship with someone you love, but sometimes, its necessary for your own health. And we’ve all experienced the ex’s trying to come back once they feel you emotionally slipping away. The comfort of having you is now being jeopardized. Although its devastating to lose something you loved and invested so much into, But sometimes you’ve got to choose yourself and “Wish Them Well”.

We couldn’t be more proud and honored to watch class 2’s SVRCINA continuously develop into exactly who she is at that moment. The evolution is truly something beautiful to watch, as not only a fan, but a friend. The success couldn’t come to a more deserving individual. Her faith, her work ethic, her focus, her priorities, and her creative ability are just all perfect combinations to have a long, very successful, career. It’s so refreshing to see an unwavering faith be rewarded in blessings from The Big Man himself. You keep dominating your dreams, SVRCINA, one song at a time 🙂
