SVRCINA launches “Astronomical”
The Newest Single from SVRCINA is Out of This World
The Cine-Pop powerhouse, SVRCINA, shows off her vocal control in the newest single “Astronomical”. Riding waves of mega-production to the simplest of classical instruments, Svrcina exposes her versatility with her newest release. Having over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, the public is obviously recognizing and taking notes on the God-given talents of this independent artist. Put it this way, when we were all playing with barbie dolls and GI Joe’s, Svrcina was writing songs that landed her a pub deal at the age of 13. She’s the type of songwriter that our team constantly refers to as an “Old Soul”. Captured by the depth of her writing, we’ve deemed Svrcina to have the gift of a golden pen.
“Astronomical” Pulls Us In
“Forces of gravity taking me, taking me. Weightlessness forsaking me. Ooh this pull is astronomical. Ooh this pull is astronomical.” Through her gradual and very patient vocal rise, Svrcina takes us on an emotional journey while capturing and pulling us in. She effortlessly settles us into a spiritual space under the spell of her falsetto. The simple production highlights her vocal control, and her power to move emotions with every note change. The lyrics resin8 (See what we did there? 😉 with the experience of feeling darkness set upon you. Lurking around the corner, the darkness is waiting on a moment to activate the pull. Once that gravity takes hold, it’s hard to counteract, therefore we desperately grab onto anything to resist it.
Reflecting the lyrics, the single cover displays the eclipse moving in behind Svrcina’s faintly visible silhouette covered in a galaxy. What a fantastic symbol of the darkness she illuminates in the song. Svrcina compares the cosmic draw of an eclipse in the stars to the darkness in our lives. Beautifully executed! The purpose of music is to open up our emotions and allow the song to take us on a journey. “Astronomical” safely straps us in, gently transports us through the song, and drops us off at a destination of fulfillment.
