Nashville Unsigned is thrilled to release our second installment of our NUX series. It is our goal to deliver stripped down versions of the songs you can’t stop playing. Directly from The Sound Shelter in Franklin, TN to your eyes and ears comes a live performance from pop siren Sinclair.
Nashville is littered with talent. Some folks can sing. Some cats can write. Others are slamming producers and we all know there’s no shortage of skilled players in this town.
Every once in blue moon, you discover an artist who can do it all. Yup, THAT’s Sinclair. And we captured her mad loopin’, Tele shreddin’, hook sangin’ self in 4 and a half minutes of pure groovefest.
Sinclair delivers a ruckus performance of her latest single “Obsession” that would make Calvin Klein proud. She seamlessly parades through a construction of guitar loops that shimmy into a bed of bad ass beats from drummer Cody Martin. If that wasn’t enough, she gifts us a sweet little guitar solo that is equal parts rock and pop.
Sinclair has that special something
The Razor and Tie supported artist is a master of melody. Obsessed seems like the perfect word to describe all the feels we’ve been experiencing since we discovered her “Sweet Talk” EP years back.
Today, the local sensation is producing her own material and our ears our gorging themselves on her tracks like it’s T-Day. While making appearances all around the world with her live performances, Sinclair is onto something special. Something international.
You can count on Sinclair enjoying a long prosperous career because she continues to deliver fresh material that matures from release to release. Obsession is no exception. The production of the track is a frankenstein of sounds from yesteryear and today.
