That’s partly due to the fact that Electronic Dance Music, as a genre, typically leans on the ability to deliver climactic dynamics to the listener. But once in a blue moon you come across a vocalist like SVRCINA. Not only does she embody the skills to impress the listener with range, but the signature emotional break in her buttery notes guarantees there is truth behind the lyrics. Nashville Unsigned rolled up on The Sound Shelter in Franklin, TN to capture our first official Nashville Unsigned Exclusive with producer Brett Ryan Stewart. The maiden episode is a peek at what an EDM song might sound like during the writing process. The acoustic performance somehow delivers all the elements and feels associated with the EDM arch. The blue eyed singer seems to be only warming her vocals in the verses. Before long, she’s flying high with confidence and returning us to the ear bending notes we’ve come to expect from the young siren.

SVRCINA is a self proclaimed Celine Dion fan. We can see how that makes sense. The Resin8 artist is widely recognized for the epic drama present in the majority of her releases. Having moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting at the age of 13, SVRCINA was originally a country singer. The famous attention given to songwriting in the town has clearly effected the profound lyricist. But something was still missing. She’d soon discover, after receiving EDM tapes from her older veteran brother, that Electronic Dance Music is something she’d like to explore. Today, SVRCINA’s unique sound is often synced to video, drawing on its innate ability to conjure emotion on the silver screen. Cinepop is born!
