About Kenzi Lewis
Kenzi Lewis began her professional music career when she was 15 by embarking on a journey that was going to eventually land her in Nashville, that journey, American Idol.
Kenzi Lewis makes two American Idol appearances
The amazing element of Kenzi’s journey, is she was not only on American Idol once.. But twice. With those professional opinions, being surrounded by creatives that were Inspiring growth, and obviously the God given talents Kenzi was born with, years later she decided to move to Nashville to pursue her music on a larger level. Jumping right into the networking and co- writing scene Nashville is notorious for.
Kenzi is a truly gifted vocalist
Kenzi’s soulful voice, raspy tone, and indescribable control has earned her a place in Nashville Unsigned’s Class 1 Alumni. She houses this gift only a select few are born with. Inspired by soulful/ rocker artists like Joan Jett, Amy Winehouse, and Alicia Keys; Kenzi Lewis tends to dance over the predetermined genre line of where people “think” she should be. Blowing our minds and opening our hearts to the love she has for music, Kenzi takes us on this emotional journey throughout her performances with the control of her primary instrument, her voice. Kenzi, it’s only a matter of time before everyone knows what you are capable of.
What is Kenzi Lewis currently working on?
With a beautiful little girl in one arm, Ellie Grace, a guitar strapped around her chest and a mic her in hand, Kenzi balances life with her most valuable instruments. What a beautiful display of a single mom fighting after her dream and a better life for her daughter. Kenzi is currently writing and performing around town and getting ready to start laying down some tracks on her first EP. We love you Kenzi and are so elated to see where your talents lead you.
