Bonded by music, the group was created in Nashville after each member had set off to tackle Music City.  Hometown friends Austin McCool (lead guitar) and Nick Goss (bass) set off to Nashville on their own respective journeys. Ironically, this turned into the guys meeting up later and making this powerhouse band.  They met front man Elliot Collett shortly after, who was in Music City with his own band from Kentucky.  When those three finally decided it was time to tear up some rock ‘n roll together, they set off to find drummer Gianni Gibson (for the life of me, how do these guys all have such cool names?)

“Nightmares” and “Horizon Line” Album:

“Nightmares” is a trippy jam that is vintage in many ways.  This is the kind of song that really takes you to another place.  The rhythm is led by a funky bass line and choppy drum beat.  With these two elements keeping rhythm, the guys really open up with cool distortion techniques on the guitar.  Of course, lead singer/rhythm guitarist Elliot Collett carries the front of the band to top off the vibe of the whole song.

“Horizon Line” is a beautiful melody of vocals and guitar.  The song is also the title of their album, which really speaks to what their style is.  Front man Collett’s voice has a longing to it that is complemented well by the creative guitar chops, both rhythm and lead.  This is definitely the song of the summer for us here at Nashville Unsigned, as you can see in their music video.  The vibes are strong with this one, and the video illustrates that vibe in a back country, Americana way.
